If you believe you can manage your own financial affairs, you can ask the court or tribunal who made your financial management order for a review.
How can I ask for a review of my financial management order?
To ask for a review of your financial management order, you need to:

contact the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal, the Mental Health Review Tribunal or the Supreme Court of NSW that made your financial management order to discuss your situation before making an application.

provide evidence that you can manage your own financial affairs – this can be provided in writing by a doctor, psychologist or social worker.

If you wish to change your financial manager, you need to:

The Mental Health Review Tribunal can only appoint NSW Trustee & Guardian as a financial manager.
