Intestacy referral form
Why refer NSW Trustee & Guardian to administer a deceased estate with no Will?
The process of administering an estate can be time consuming and complex and you may be required to:
-
provide personal certificate evidence (birth, marriage and death certificates) from Australia and if appropriate overseas
-
potentially pay an administration bond (money) as security to the Court, to make you financially accountable to administer the estate properly.
As a professional Trustee, we are not required to provide the above documentation or bond, so can obtain approval to administer an intestate estate more quickly.
We also have over 100 years of experience in the administration of estates.
As part of our independent and reliable Trustee services, we currently administer around 2,000 estates annually including taking on the executorship of estates from other Executors.
